Rachel grew up in Washington D.C. and Oregon, and then attended Marquette University for her undergraduate degree.  She earned an MFA at Southern Methodist University before settling back in Portland and completing her law degree at Lewis & Clark Law School.

While attending law school, Rachel worked for the Judicial Department assisting the chief family law judge in Multnomah County.  Prior to joining Lufkin Peckham Bergstrom LLP, she worked for the Oregon Department of Justice in the Division of Child Support and the Child Advocacy Section, and as a Staff Attorney for a nonprofit.  She primarily practices family law including dissolutions, custody and parenting time, paternity, modifications, spousal support, enforcement actions, contempt, restraining orders, and guardianships.

Rachel is a member of the Oregon Women Lawyers, the Multnomah Bar Association, the Oregon Association of Family Law Practitioners, and a committee member for the Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys gardening, audiobooks, hiking, and traveling around the state with her husband, toddler, and grumpy rescue dog.
